Job description

Position Overview:
The Manufacturing Engineer will work independently and/or in collaboration with others to develop systems, processes, fixtures, and machines that result in the manufacture of high-quality products. Additionally, the ME would be a contributing part of continuous improvement, safety, and other operational initiatives.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Process Design & Improvement
    • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, throughput, and safety.
    • Analyze production workflows and implement process improvements using continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Production Support
    • Provide daily engineering support to manufacturing operations, troubleshooting production issues and minimizing downtime.
    • Collaborate with supervisors, maintenance, quality, and operations teams to resolve technical problems.
  • Tooling, Equipment & Automation
    • Specify, evaluate, and implement manufacturing equipment, tooling, fixtures, and automation solutions. Lead equipment installations, validations, and process startups.
    • Develop and improve preventive maintenance actions for critical operations.
  • Project Management
    • Lead or support manufacturing projects related to capacity expansion, cost reduction, new product introduction, and process upgrades.
    • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
