Salary Range: The full pay range for this role is $84,700 - $141,100, and the good faith estimated starting pay for this position upon hire is $90,000 to $115,000.  We generally base our salary decisions on factors including but not limited to, relevant work and leadership experience, education, demonstrated performance, internal equity, and in some cases, geographic location.

Scope of Job:

The Supply Chain Master Data Analyst is responsible for end-to-end ownership of material master data in SAP, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, creation of new material and compliance. This role will lead to the preparation and enablement of the Supply Chain team for the transition to SAP S/4HANA, including recommending best practices in data management. Additionally, the role supports Material Requirements Planning (MRP) parameter configuration and spare parts inventory management to optimize supply chain performance.

Responsibilities
  •  Lead Material Master Data Management & Governance
    • Serves as the primary subject matter expert for material master data within SAP, leading efforts to ensure and maintain the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all related information (parts, classification, purchasing, stocking, vendor data).
    • Initiates and leads complex data cleansing initiatives, defining strategies and methodologies to significantly improve data quality and reliability.
    • Directs the creation of new part numbers using Simple MDG, establishing and enforcing guidelines to ensure alignment with business requirements and system standards.
  • SAP S/4HANA Transition Leadership & Support
    • Leads the Supply Chain team's strategic preparedness for the SAP S/4HANA transition, coordinating and overseeing critical activities such as data migration, comprehensive system testing, and targeted training programs.
    • Provides expert guidance in gathering and defining S/4HANA requirements and champions the implementation of best practices in data governance to ensure a seamless and optimized system transition.
  • Advanced Spare Parts Demand Planning & Optimization
    • Conducts in-depth analysis of spare parts demand patterns, leveraging advanced analytical techniques to forecast needs and identify optimization opportunities.
    • Drives the configuration and refinement of MRP parameters within the ERP system, aiming to achieve optimal inventory levels that balance cost efficiency with operational readiness.
    • Facilitates and leads cross-functional collaboration to ensure demand planning strategies are fully integrated and aligned with broader inventory and operational objectives.
  • Compliance Metrics Development & Reporting Leadership
    • Develops and establishes key performance indicators (KPIs) and rigorous compliance standards for material master data and overall material control activities.
    • Designs and implements robust reporting frameworks, providing actionable insights on adherence, performance, and compliance to stakeholders and management.
    • Collaborates closely with Fulfillment Buyers and Site Operations leadership to ensure consistent application and continuous improvement of these standards.
  • Process Architecture & Continuous Improvement
    • Leads the creation, review, and ongoing maintenance of comprehensive documentation for material master data and supply chain planning processes, procedures, and work instructions.
    • Identifies opportunities for process enhancement and drives initiatives to improve operational efficiency and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  • Other Strategic Contributions
    • Performs other lead-level tasks and strategic responsibilities as assigned, contributing to the Material Control and overall Supply Chain functions and achieving organizational goals.

Working Conditions:

85% of time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of various Microsoft software/programs), phones, and general office equipment. 15% of time is spent outside of the office visiting vendors' and/or internal customers' sites in additional to attending various conferences and meetings.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • Requires bachelor's degree from a four-year College or University with a minimum of 5 years related data management in ERP and 3 plus years in Supply Chain  of related progressive supply chain experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP, with deep understanding of material master data configuration and governance.
  • Proficient in SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments,
  • Experience in data cleansing initiatives and continuous improvement of master data processes.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in data extraction, manipulation, analysis, and interpretation using Excel and other data tools.
  • Ability to effectively analyze, interpret, and present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
  • High level of interpersonal relationship skills with a team oriented and collaborative approach
  • Ability to write reports, correspondence, procedure manuals and generate process flowcharts.
  • Knowledge and experience in all Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).
  • Desirable: Experience or knowledge of the Renewable Energy industry or similar sectors with complex supply chain and inventory management needs.
  • Familiarity with software implementation projects, particularly SAP S/4HANA transition initiatives, and ability to assist in gathering and documenting system requirements.
