Job description

The Manufacturing Associate at EquiStem Technology, LLC dba Equus Innovations is responsible for supporting Manufacturing Operations through the preparation, processing, packaging, receiving, and shipment of products. This position performs production support activities in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), applicable FDA regulations, and company Quality standards. The Manufacturing Associate also assists with maintaining cleanroom and laboratory environments, inventory control, and general operational support to ensure efficient and compliant manufacturing processes.

Education & Work Experiences Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in biological sciences, or equivalent related field preferred.
  • One-two years of experience in a laboratory, tissue banking or biological/pharmaceutical production environment desirable. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of biological concepts, amniotic tissue processing and process/method validations desirable.
  • Strong working knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and equipment qualifications desirable.
  • Work experience in an FDA regulated environment desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Highly motivated, task oriented, and strong attention to detail required.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Superior customer service skills and excellent follow through required.
  • High degree of honesty and integrity.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills: Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support Manufacturing Operations
  • Support Packaging Operations
  • Perform post-production cleaning and decontamination of production supplies to include room preparation and cleaning according to associate SOPs
  • Perform equipment/supply sterilization according to associate SOPs
  • Support routine cleanroom/laboratory cleaning
  • Support Environmental Monitoring program as requested
  • Provide other production support as requested
  • Support Incoming Material Receipt
  • Interface with Suppliers (or supplier websites) to secure outstanding documentation
  • Interface with Quality to resolve material discrepancies
  • Support Post-Market Surveillance
  • Support Office Management
  • Other duties as requested
