The Manufacturing Team Leader is responsible for leading daytoday execution on a manufacturing line in partnership with the line team. This role acts as the “quarterback” of the shift, coordinating people, materials, and resources to deliver safe, highquality, and efficient production performance.


Provides direction, training, and motivation to a team of approximately 7–8 team members to achieve daily production goals. As part of the line leadership triad, this role helps ensure priorities are clear, challenges are addressed quickly, and performance targets are met. This is an empowered frontline leadership role with a strong voice in daily decisionmaking and continuous improvement.


This position is a strong entry point into a leadership career at PepsiCo, offering handson people leadership experience and exposure to manufacturing operations.


Responsibilities

Schedule

  • Working days: Monday – Friday
    Shiftbased schedule: 
    • 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
    • 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Shift Leadership and Execution
  • Act as the primary point of coordination for the manufacturing line during the shift
  • Set pace and priorities to ensure the team is positioned for success
  • Monitor overall line performance and adjust execution to meet safety, quality, and output targets
Daily Direction Setting
  • Lead linelevel Daily Direction Setting (DDS) meetings
  • Communicate top shift issues, including risks, actions, and support needs
  • Ensure team member input is represented in daily discussions
Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement
  • Navigate production challenges during the shift and escalate issues as needed
  • Support problemsolving and continuous improvement efforts on the line
Team Engagement and Culture
  • Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, and teamwork
  • Encourage team member participation through structured routines
  • Serve as a role model for safe, qualityfocused, and disciplined execution
Operational Support
  • Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently, including new technologies
  • Perform preventive maintenance activities as required
  • Maintain clean work areas through good housekeeping practices
  • Keep daily records of downtime and machine operations
  • Support onthejob training for new team members
  • Ensure regular, reliable, and predictable attendance

Compensation and Benefits

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $60,200 - $90,200.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Paid time off in accordance with policy is subject to eligibility and includes vacation, holiday, sick, bereavement and parental leave.
    • Vacation: for eligible full-time employees, a minimum of 15 paid vacation days.
    • Holidays: for eligible full-time employees, the company provides 10 paid holidays annually.
    • Sick Leave: for eligible full- time employees, 10 days (80 hours) of paid sick leave benefits are available for absences related to non-job-related injury. Sick leave benefit will be accrued during your first year at 1 day for each month worked in that calendar year.
    • Bereavement Leave:  In the event of a death of an immediate family member, full-time and part-time regular employees are eligible to receive up to three (3) consecutive working days with pay.
    • Parental Leave:  for eligible employees, the company offers paid parental leave for up to 6 weeks  to allow for a time of bonding with their newborn or newly adopted child.
  • In addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health, and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan.
