Description:You will be the Multi-Functional Quality Associate Manager for the LRSS Quality team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards across multiple functional areas, including Quality, Reliability, Test, and Inspection, and implements quality management systems to drive excellence.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Multi-Functional Quality Asc. Manager you will be responsible for guiding a skilled group of Quality Engineers and Inspectors, shaping processes that ensure mission critical products meet the highest standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
Lead recruitment, selection, training, and performance recognition for quality personnel.
Allocate resources, assign work, and maintain an effective business rhythm.
Communicate quality requirements, concerns, and expectations with internal teams and DCMA.
Drive risk and opportunity management, and oversee metrics programs to address adverse trends.
Ensure product acceptance, delivery, and compliance with contractual and internal quality standards.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
-STEM Degree at the Bachelor level or above and/or experience/combined education
-Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance and must have an interim clearance prior to starting
-Working knowledge of Quality Engineering methods, processes, and tools
-Experience with AS9100 Quality systems
-Experienced in reading and interpreting drawings and standards
-Experienced in using various inspection measurement tools
-Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives ("ATF") background check to obtain approval to be an "employee possessor" (of explosives or other ATF regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.
Desired Skills:
-STEM degree at bachelors level or above highly preferred
-Defense contractor or military contractor experience desired
-Experience in Six-Sigma green belt techniques and statistical process control methods preferred
-Previous Quality leadership experience in an ordinance manufacturing environment
-Ability to work with and around explosives
