Roll Rite, a Safe Fleet company, and a leader in the truck equipment manufacturing industry, is looking for a Tarp Manufacturing associate to work as part of a team for manufacturing of complete tarp systems and assembling of Automated Tarp Systems.
This important team member partners with others to manufacture Roll-Rite systems according to company processes. The Tarp Manufacturing associate performs and assembles components for tarp fabrication.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
• Processing parts.
• Operate industrial sewing machine, grommet machine, miller roller welder, kabar welder and floor welder.
• Read a tape measure, use hand tools and semi-automatic manufacturing equipment.
• Must be able to read manufacturing prints.
• Read and understand work orders and work instructions.
• Routine daily cleaning and equipment maintenance.
• Confirm quality of product.
• Prepare product for shipment including packing and labeling products.
• Maintain product workspace.
• Ability to cross train in other areas and departments.
• Follows all safety guidelines and wears proper personal protective equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
