Job description

Michigan Automotive Compressor, Inc. (MACI), is a world-class manufacturer of air conditioning compressors and magnetic clutches. MACI is a joint venture between Toyota Industries Corporation (TICO) and DENSO. Not only are we the largest manufacturer in Jackson County, we also hold the largest market share in North America. We are filling positions in these departments:

  • Assembly - Responsible for performing small parts assembly for automotive compressor production. Work requires ability to obtain a Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) license.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required 
  • Basic reading skills. Must be able to follow directions
  • Basic computer navigation and utilization skills
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
  • High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
  • Pass basic math, reading and dexterity testing
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Pass a drug screen
  • Pass a background check
  • Physical demands and abilities may include:
  • Regularly lift 35 pounds
  • Regularly perform repetitive tasks
  • Possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately
  • Must have good eye-hand coordination

MACI Schedule:

  • Full-time - minimum 5 days a week, weekends possible
  • Average 8-10.5 hours each day
