Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing Equipment) to support the upkeep of our manufacturing equipment, facility, and material handling systems. This role is responsible for maintaining production machinery, performing preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Associate degree or equivalent technical training
  • Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting experience
  • Ability to read schematics and blueprints
  • Good communication and documentation skills

Preferred:

  • Preventive maintenance program experience
  • Experience with presses or similar industrial equipment
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on all production equipment and facility systems
  • Maintain and repair machinery including punch presses, brake presses, and hydraulic/mechanical presses
  • Service forklifts and other propane/electric material handling equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems (120V, 220V, 440V; single & three-phase)
  • Read and interpret machine schematics and building blueprints
  • Perform general facility maintenance including light carpentry and plumbing
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives with manufacturing and engineering teams
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
  • Work at varying heights using ladders, lifts, or other equipment as needed
  • Document maintenance activities and communicate across teams
  • Other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Must be able to work overtime, including weekends as needed.
  • Must be physically capable of standing/bending/stooping/squeezing 8+ hour shift(s)
  • Must be able to lift, carry and/or move up to 30 lbs. without assistance. Anything above 30 lbs. requires a team lift (Floor to waist, waist to shoulder, above shoulders and head).    
  • Must have to work in non-dust, non-climate-controlled areas.
  • Must be able to wear required safety PPE.
