Manufacturing Production Associate Calhoun & Adairsville

Position Overview

Position Overview
Shaw Industries is seeking dedicated and safety-conscious individuals to join our manufacturing and distribution teams at our Calhoun facilities. These roles are essential to maintaining efficient production and delivering high-quality products to our customers.

Positions Available:

  • Lift Truck Operator - Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move raw materials and finished goods safely.

  • Twisting Operator - Manage twisting machines to ensure yarn integrity and quality standards.

  • Heat Set Operator - Oversee heat-setting processes for yarn durability and performance.

  • Creeler - Load and monitor creels to maintain continuous production flow.

  • Creeler Mender Operator - Repair, maintain creels and mend rolls to minimize downtime and ensure quality standard products.

Key Responsibilities:

Depending on the assigned department and role, your duties may include:

  • Operate machinery and equipment according to safety and quality standards.

  • Monitor production processes and troubleshoot issues promptly.

  • Each role has different lifting, reach, and physical movement requirements. Typical requirements include the ability to bend, stoop, reach, pull, climb stairs and push repetitively.

  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

General

  • Follow all safety, attendance, and performance policies.

  • Participate in shift communication and team efforts to maintain workflow.

  • Work necessary overtime as required by production demands.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or team leads.


Qualifications and Requirements:
