Panning Department Associate – Candy Manufacturing

Location: Irondale, AL
Schedule: Monday–Friday 6am-5pm or 9am-8pm


Job Description

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented team members to join our candy manufacturing facility. These positions will start in our Panning Department, with the potential to move between panning and tube-filling operations as needed.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, working with food production processes, and being part of a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in the candy panning process, including mixing, coating, and monitoring products
  • Accurately measure and mix ingredients following production instructions
  • Perform basic math calculations, including unit conversions, to ensure batch accuracy
  • Maintain detailed and accurate production records
  • Perform repetitive manual labor including bending, scooping, lifting, and standing for extended periods
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area, including deep cleaning when required
  • Follow all safety, quality, and sanitation guidelines


Qualifications

  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Experience with cooking, baking, or mixing ingredients preferred
  • Strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and unit conversion)
