Job description

We are seeking a Production/Manufacturing Associate responsible for performing masking and painting operations for displacers, top-mounted controls, mechanical units, and electronic units. This position works primarily in the paint booth and on the shop floor to ensure products are properly prepared, painted, and completed according to production schedules and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all functions of the painting process, including setup, masking, painting, and drying.
  • Move completed stock orders to the designated inspection area.
  • Clean spray guns, paint fixtures, and the paint booth area at the end of each shift.
  • Change paint booth filters as required.
  • Maintain spray guns and painting equipment in proper working condition.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Monitor painting materials and supplies and notify the supervisor or lead when reorder levels are reached.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Windows.
  • Basic math skills and ability to use measurement tools such as rulers, scales, calipers, and tape measures.
  • Experience using paint equipment, including paint guns and paint shakers.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Required use of personal protective equipment(PPE) as required.

Salary Range and Benefits:
Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition, AMETEK provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee assistance program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off.
