Silgan Containers is seeking a Plant Accountant to provide plant-level manufacturing accounting and finance expertise at our Hoopeston, Illinois, manufacturing facility. This role focuses on cost accounting, inventory control, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and SOX internal controls within a structured manufacturing environment.
The Plant Accountant reports to the Plant Manager and partners closely with plant operations and corporate finance to ensure accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and effective financials for manufacturing operations. Compensation for this IL-based position ranges from $85,000 to $95,000 per year and is based on experience, education, and skills.
