Job description

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Automation Engineer to join our team in San Antonio, TX. In this role,contribute to a team of highly skilled cyber professionals to deliver impactful mission outcomes. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for application software testing using Python
* Analyze software requirements for comprehensive test coverage
* Develop test cases for each new feature and function to ensure full coverage
* Perform manual and automated software testing during development cycle
* Perform detailed regression testing to maintain product integrity and identify potential defects
* Identify and mitigate testing deficiencies in the products
* Work with development team on reproduction of customer reported defects
Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor of Science Degree and 4+ years' of Software Development and/or Software Testing experience or High School Diploma and 7+ years of experience
* Experience writing tests scripts/utilities in Python
* Experience performing manual and automated testing
* Experience testing Windows and Linux applications Preferred Qualifications: * Experience integrating test scripts into test automation frameworks
* Experience developing automation using Ansible
* Experience developing complex Jenkins scripted pipelines using groovy
* Experience developing and using Elastic Search or similar applications
* Experience with the management of virtual machines for testing using VMware, Proxmox, or similar virtualization technologies
Clearance Requirements * Must have a current/active Secret clearance Physical Requirements * The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
