Familiarity with manual screen printing presses, ink mixing, and drying/curing equipment is essential. What is a Manual Screen Printer?

A Manual Screen Printer is a professional who uses hand-operated equipment to transfer designs, images, or text onto various materials—typically fabrics like t-shirts—using stencils and ink. This process involves preparing screens, aligning materials, applying ink, and curing the print. Manual screen printing is valued for its hands-on approach, attention to detail, and ability to produce small or custom batches efficiently. It requires skill, precision, and a good eye for color and design. Manual screen printers often work in printing shops, apparel companies, or as independent artists.
