Position Overview
SpectrumACS, a division of American Correctional Solutions, is hiring experienced Registered Nurses for a local contract assignment at a state inpatient psychiatric facility in Pueblo, Colorado. This facility provides care for adult forensic and civil inpatient behavioral health populations in a secure, team-based hospital environment.
Responsibilities
Provide psychiatric nursing care in an inpatient setting. One year of specialty experience in the last 5 years.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
Administer and monitor psychotropic medications
Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
Utilize crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
Participate in MANDT crisis management and restraint training
Requirements
Active Colorado RN license
Inpatient psychiatric or behavioral health RN experience
Current AHA BLS certification
Experience working in secure, forensic, correctional, or inpatient psychiatric settings preferred
Ability to work day shifts, weekends, and holidays
Ability to lift 50+ lbs
