Job description

Luxor Staffing is hiring a Mandarin Translator - English. Weekly pay, possible overtime, incentive and bonus programs, optional direct deposit, benefits from day 1 on the job and much more!

Job duties:

  • Translate documents between Mandarin, and English, including technical and production materials.
  • Provide real-time interpretation for meetings, training, audits, and production activities.
  • Support communication between supervisors, managers, and multilingual manufacturing teams.
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and cross-department coordination (production, engineering, quality, logistics).
  • Translate safety, OSHA, quality, and compliance-related documentation.
  • Maintain accurate multilingual records, document control systems, and technical glossaries.
  • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of all translated materials.

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Translation, Languages, Communications, Business, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Native or near-native Mandarin fluency with professional English proficiency.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in all three languages.
  • Prior experience in professional translation and interpretation.
  • Manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or production environment experience preferred.
  • Experience translating technical documents, work instructions, and operational procedures.
