Senior Producer (Mandarin-speaking)

Bellota Labs

Redwood City, CA โ€ข On-site, Remote

$175K - $225K/yr

Full-time

Job description

Bellota Labs is a gaming studio building competitive, multiplayer-first experiences with a focus on live operations, player engagement, and long-term product excellence.
We are the team behind ClubWPT Gold, the flagship product of the World Poker Tour (WPT) - one of the most recognized brands in global poker. ClubWPT Gold blends competitive gameplay, live-service systems, and real-money prize structures, serving a highly engaged player base.
We operate with high ownership, speed, and accountability - and we're looking for leaders who want to build products that last. We're also an AI-native studio: we expect our producers to use modern AI tools to increase clarity, compress cycle times, and give the team superpowers it wouldn't otherwise have.
What You'll Do
  • Own and drive development schedules across multiple teams, using AI tools to accelerate roadmap drafting, dependency mapping, and scenario planning.
  • Translate high-level product strategy into actionable roadmaps and milestones. Leverage AI (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to pressure-test plans, surface edge cases, and draft clear documentation at speed.
  • Partner with Design and Engineering leads to define scope and delivery timelines, using AI-assisted estimation and risk-analysis techniques to sharpen forecasts.
  • Proactively identify production risks and resolve blockers, using AI to synthesize signals across tickets, docs, and meeting notes so nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, milestone reviews, and cross-functional syncs. Use AI-powered meeting tools (e.g., Granola, Fireflies, Otter, Notion AI) to capture, summarize, and distribute action items - so meetings become decisions, not overhead.
  • Improve production workflows to increase clarity and velocity. Evaluate and roll out AI-powered PM tools (e.g., Linear, Jira, Notion, ClickUp with AI copilots) to reduce coordination tax across the org.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders across product, engineering, and operations. Use AI to draft crisp status updates, executive summaries, and stakeholder comms that keep everyone aligned without drowning the team in meetings.
  • Support live ops initiatives, seasonal content, and ongoing feature releases, using AI tooling to monitor rollouts, synthesize player feedback, and accelerate post-mortems.
  • Champion AI in production workflows, continuously evaluating new tools and techniques that elevate team velocity, clarity, and quality - and sharing learnings broadly.

What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in game production or technical production
  • Experience shipping and operating a live-service game
  • Strong understanding of agile development and production frameworks
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams on complex systems
  • Hands-on fluency with AI tools in a professional production workflow - for planning, documentation, meeting synthesis, stakeholder communication, and risk analysis - with clear judgment about where AI accelerates the work and where human leadership must lead
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High ownership mentality and bias toward action

Nice to Have
  • Experience in competitive multiplayer or real-money gaming environments
  • Background in technical production
  • Experience in early-stage or high-growth studios
  • Experience introducing or scaling AI-powered workflows in a production or PM context
  • Passion for poker, strategy games, or competitive ecosystems
  • Mandarin proficiency (preferred but not required)

Why Bellota Labs
  • A globally recognized brand as your foundation. You won't be building awareness from scratch - you'll be building on top of the World Poker Tour, one of the most iconic names in gaming, with a built-in audience of passionate players worldwide.
  • Real ownership, real visibility. This isn't a role where your work gets lost in a layer of middle management. You'll have meaningful equity, direct exposure to leadership, and a seat at the table where decisions are actually made.
  • Compensation that reflects the stakes. Competitive salary, equity, and benefits designed to reward the people betting on us early.
  • A rare chance to shape what comes next. ClubWPT Gold is just the beginning. You'll help define the operational DNA, product cadence, and cultural footprint of a company with ambitions well beyond a single launch.

$175,000 - $225,000 a year
At Bellota Labs, we are defining the future of online gaming with cutting-edge products and a team of passionate professionals. You will have the opportunity to shape the direction of our flagship product, work with a world-class team, and make a lasting impact on the gaming industry.
We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans.
