Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full cycle of accounting activities, including but not limited to reviewing source documents, preparing journal entries, and maintaining general and subsidiary ledgers.
  • Perform timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement) and provide insights and recommendations to management.
  • Manage daily operations for accounts receivable, accounts payable, employee expense reimbursements, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare work for tax filings, collaborate with external accountants/tax advisors, and ensure compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, providing required documentation and assisting with the implementation of audit recommendations.
  • Maintain and optimize financial processes and internal controls to improve efficiency and mitigate risks.
  • Handle financial communication and coordination with headquarters or other Mandarin-speaking teams/clients/vendors.
  • Perform other related financial and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of full-time relevant accounting experience. Hands-on experience with U.S. GAAP is highly preferred.
  • Native or fluent proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and MS Office Suite (with advanced Excel skills).
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
  • High degree of professionalism, integrity, and ability to handle confidential information. Must be responsible and a team player.
  • CPA certification or equivalent is a plus.
