Job description

Part-Time Mandarin Teacher - Montessori Preschool
We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and experienced Part-Time Mandarin Teacher to join our Montessori preschool team!
Position Details:
  • Schedule: Part-time, approximately 10 hours per week
  • Pay: $25 per hour
  • Age Group: Children 2-5 years old
  • Locations: Must be willing to travel between our preschool locations as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach Mandarin through fun, age-appropriate activities, including songs, stories, games, movement, and hands-on learning.
  • Foster a positive, engaging environment that encourages children to develop a love for the Mandarin language and Chinese culture.
  • Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to support the Montessori learning environment.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience teaching Mandarin is required.
  • Fluency in Mandarin (native or near-native proficiency preferred).
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children (ages 2-5) is strongly preferred.
  • Passion for early childhood education and creating engaging learning experiences.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between our preschool locations.
  • Montessori experience is a plus but not required.
