Responsibilities and practice

Dentons US LLP invites talented associates with 2-4 years of real estate or transactional experience to become a key member of our nationally top-ranked, internationally acclaimed Hospitality & Leisure practice. As a valued member of our Hospitality & Leisure team, you will:

  • Work on matters across the globe

  • Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including letters of intent, purchase and sale agreements, hotel management, license and franchise agreements, joint venture agreements, and more

  • Advise on financings, including negotiation of loan documents and related deliverables

  • Manage deal closings from start to finish

  • Conduct due diligence and handle all aspects of transactional work

Pursuant with states' laws, the salary range for this position will be $235,000 to $310,000, based on experience. Based on years of experience, Dentons associates may have a title of Associate, Managing Associate, or Senior Managing Associate. Dentons US LLP offers a competitive salary and benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, short-term/long-term disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, paid holidays and discretionary bonuses.

Position requirements

Personal skills/attributes

  • Excellent academic credentials and proven analytical ability

  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

  • The ability to manage competing demands with efficiency and poise

  • A collaborative spirit and a commitment to teamwork

Technical skills

  • 2-4 years of legal experience in real estate/transactional work (hospitality industry experience is a plus)

  • Previous law firm experience (large and sophisticated deal experience preferred)

Other requirements

  • Must be licensed to practice law and be in good standing in the state where the hired candidate will be practicing
