Subway Manager

We are currently hiring for our Subway restaurant located at 1401 University Avenue, Madison, WI. This location is situated on the beautiful campus of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and offers unique perks that many quick-service restaurants do not.

Unlike many restaurant locations, we are closed on all major holidays, allowing for better work-life balance. Our team is primarily comprised of college students, creating a fun, energetic, and team-oriented environment.

About the Role

As part of the Subway Team, the Manager plays a vital role in delivering operational excellence and leading the restaurant team to success. This position focuses on driving sales, ensuring food quality, maintaining safety standards, and providing an outstanding guest experience.

Primary Responsibilities

Managers focus on eight key areas:

  • Delivering an exceptional guest experience

  • Ensuring high-quality food is prepared and served

  • Maintaining a clean, functional, and visually appealing restaurant

  • Managing inventory and cash control systems

  • Coordinating local marketing and community outreach initiatives

Daily Operational Duties
