Branch Manager

Passumpsic Savings Bank is looking for a bright, energetic and highly motivated individual for the Branch Manager position we have available.

The right candidate will be responsible for overall growth and development of the Newport market, which includes increased generation of deposits and loans and maintaining an effective outside business development program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coach and mentor staff via delegation, training, establishing performance objectives and conducting performance appraisals.
  • Plans, implements and maintains a sales program with creativity and energy such that goals are achieved and quality standards are met or exceeded.
  • Facilitate integrated delivery of financial services and products, including lending, deposit, investment management, etc. by referring customers to the appropriate department or division
  • Responsible for positive community relations in the market area.
  • Builds customer relationships by recognizing deposit and loan financial needs and identifying additional bank products and services to fill those needs.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 4+ years of banking experience with at least 3 being in the retail banking area
  • At least one year of supervisory experience
  • Strong organizational and communications skills
  • Ability to function in a Consumer business office environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: PC, copier, telephone, etc.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
