Job description

Position Summary...The Senior Manager, Construction Superintendent, leads daily onsite operations by supervising subcontractors and field personnel to ensure project plans and quality standards are met. This role involves coordinating trades, managing site logistics, enforcing safety protocols, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. The position requires proactive scheduling, real-time problem solving, and effective communication with stakeholders to support project timelines and objectives. The role also emphasizes continuous improvement, team development, and adherence to company policies, fostering a high-performing and safety-conscious work environment throughout all construction phases. To ensure these responsibilities are met, this role will be field-based and will require up to 85% travel for site visits and project oversight.

Our team operates within Walmart Realty, overseeing all construction projects across Walmart US. We lead onsite operations by coordinating subcontractors and field personnel to ensure projects meet design, quality, and safety standards. The team manages scheduling, site logistics, and regulatory inspections to maintain efficient workflows and compliance. Emphasizing safety assurance and quality control, we implement proactive measures and training to uphold site safety. Through effective communication and coordination, the team supports timely project delivery while fostering continuous improvement and adherence to company policies and standards.What you'll do...
  • Lead daily onsite operations by supervising subcontractors and field personnel to ensure adherence to project plans and quality standards.
  • Conduct daily coordination meetings to align trades, resolve scheduling conflicts, and adjust sequencing to maintain project timelines.
  • Develop and maintain look-ahead schedules to anticipate activities and resource needs, optimizing site logistics and workflow.
  • Enforce safety protocols, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
  • Coordinate regulatory and client inspections, ensuring readiness and adherence to applicable codes.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Provide supervision, mentoring, and development opportunities to build a high-performing team.
