Job description

Who We're Looking For - Video Content Producer, Reviews.org
Clearlink is a remote-friendly company, prioritizing virtual and in-person collaboration. This is a remote-first role for candidates who are located outside of Utah and outside of commuting distance. For candidates residing within 50 miles of our Salt Lake City, Utah office, a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days in-office is required.
Reviews.org has built a loyal audience by helping people cut through the noise on internet, TV, mobile, and home services. We're looking for a Video Content Producer to turn video into a growth engine for the brand, scaling our existing YouTube channel, expanding into new topics and verticals as the brand grows, and making sure our video content shows up in a world where people increasingly ask AI, not just search engines, for answers. This role supports the larger editorial strategy for Reviews.org, bringing video into how the brand tells its stories and reaches its audience.
This role is unique in that it isn't just about producing videos; it's about owning and growing channels. You'll be judged on your ability to ideate, create, and publish high-quality video content, grow YouTube and our other video-first channels into meaningful audience and traffic sources (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) and figure out how video content gets surfaced and cited by AI answer engines (AEO) before that playbook is fully written. You'll partner closely with the Marketing Manager and Business Development team to make sure video content serves the brand's broader growth and revenue goals.
We're looking for someone who can move fluidly between ideation and execution, who treats reporting and iteration as part of the craft, and who wants to help define what video growth looks like for this brand rather than just follow an existing playbook.
The Impact You Will Make
What You Own
  • Video content creation and ideation. You own the pipeline of video ideas, scripts, and finished content, keeping a consistent, high-quality output that reflects the Reviews.org brand and voice.
  • Channel growth. You own the health and growth of Reviews.org's video channels, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram - including subscribers/followers, views, watch time, and their contribution to overall traffic and audience growth. We're taking a video-first approach to our content calendar and distribution, so these channels are central to how the brand grows.
  • AEO for video. You own understanding and unlocking Answer Engine Optimization for video content, figuring out how video gets discovered, indexed, and cited by AI answer engines and building that into how we plan and produce content.
  • Reporting. You own performance reporting across video content and channels, turning views, engagement, and growth metrics into a clear read on what's working and what to change.
Create and grow video content
  • Ideate video concepts and formats that fit Reviews.org's audience and expand on what the brand already does well in written content, including new topics and verticals as the brand's coverage grows.
  • Write, produce, shoot, and edit both short-form and long-form video content, from concept through publish.
  • Host and present on camera - you'll be the on-screen talent for scripted video content across YouTube and our social channels, from quick daily explainers to longer-form reviews.
  • Build and maintain a video-first content calendar and publishing cadence across YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram that keeps our channels active and growing.
  • Set baselines, targets, and a measurement cadence for each video channel so growth is visible and tied to business goals.
  • Develop a working understanding of how AI answer engines discover, parse, and cite video content, and translate that into practical production and publishing guidelines.
  • Test and iterate on video structure, metadata, transcripts, and formatting to improve how video content performs across AI-driven and traditional search surfaces.
Collaborate and execute across teams
  • Partner with the Marketing Manager to align video content and channel strategy with the brand's broader organic growth and marketing roadmap.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team to identify and produce video content and channel opportunities that support partnership and revenue goals.
  • Work cross-functionally with editorial and design teams.
  • Move fast from idea to published content, and use performance data to decide what to double down on, iterate, or retire.
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of experience creating video content for digital or social platforms, ideally including hands-on experience growing a YouTube channel.
  • A strong sense of ideation, the ability to generate video concepts that fit both a brand's voice and an audience's interests.
  • Working knowledge of video production and editing (shooting, scripting, editing software).
  • Curiosity and comfort with ambiguity, genuine interest in how AI answer engines and evolving search behavior are changing video discovery.
  • Comfort owning KPIs: defining them, setting baselines and targets, and reporting progress against them.
  • Experience with YouTube Studio and native analytics on platforms like Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram, plus web analytics tools to track and report performance.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience partnering across marketing and business teams to align content with broader goals.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate performance data into a clear story for stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Film, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
