Job description

Job Title: Audiologist - Ambulatory ENT clinic (Pediatrics & Adults)
Location: Elkhart, IN

Reports To: BMG ENT and Audiology Elkhart Manager
Position Summary
Beacon Medical Group (BMG) ENT and Audiology Elkhart is seeking a compassionate, skilled Audiologist to join our outpatient clinic. This role provides comprehensive audiologic care to both pediatric and adult patients in a collaborative, multidisciplinary healthcare environment. The ideal candidate is patient-centered, clinically proficient, and passionate about improving hearing and communication outcomes across the lifespan.
Who We Are
BMG ENT and Audiology Elkhart is a close-knit group of 3 audiologists, 2 ENT surgeons, and 3 APC's who support shared decision making in the best interests of the patient. Our office also has an allergy department, and we are supported by a knowledgeable audiology technician. We respect our audiologists; hearing testing for ENT's are scheduled and not on call.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive audiologic evaluations for pediatric and adult patients
  • Diagnose and manage hearing disorders
  • Complete limited vestibular testing via VNG (generally 1/week)
  • Conduct hearing aid evaluations, fittings, programming, verification, and follow-up care (Phonak, Resound, Oticon, and Starkey)
  • Provide pediatric services including newborn hearing follow-up (ABR's), behavioral testing, and family counseling
  • Ideal candidate will be comfortable with cochlear implantation and bone anchored hearing device evaluations, activations, and follow (preferred but not required)
  • Collaborate with physicians, speech-language pathologists, educators, and other healthcare professionals
  • Educate patients and families on hearing loss, treatment options, and hearing conservation
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities
  • Comply with all hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) from an accredited program
  • Current or eligible state licensure in audiology
  • Experience working with pediatric and adult populations preferred (new graduates welcome to apply)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient clinical setting
