Job description

The opportunity
Unity is the world's most widely used real-time 3D platform - and one of the most powerful advertising environments in mobile. With 256 million monthly active users across thousands of titles, Unity's reach rivals the largest digital platforms. Nine of the top ten mobile games run Unity Ads, and brands like P/&G, McDonald's, Apple, and Walmart trust Unity to deliver high-attention, brand-safe access to consumers at scale.
You'll own a portfolio of brand and agency clients across the Central and Eastern US, serving as their primary programmatic partner from campaign kickoff through quarterly business reviews. This isn't a campaign-management role - it's a strategic seat at the table, requiring deep RTB fluency, sharp operational instincts, and the relationship skills to become the person clients call first.
We've released Unity Vector, our AI-driven advertising platform, and Unity Audience Hub - our data platform, combining Unity's proprietary gameplay and behavioral signals with 1PD and 3PD audiences to build targeting that no other supply-side can replicate. We're also expanding off-platform into CTV, Display, and DOOH - and you'll be part of shaping how we bring those products to market with clients.
What you'll be doing
  • Client portfolio: Serve as the primary point of contact for a book of brand and agency clients across the Central and Eastern US - managing relationships, expectations, and strategic direction across verticals including Entertainment, QSR, CPG, Retail, and Pharma.
  • Campaign excellence: Oversee end-to-end programmatic campaign execution across major DSPs - from onboarding and trafficking through pacing, optimization, and wrap reports. Translate client KPIs into precise activation strategies across Managed Service, PMPs, and Programmatic Guaranteed deals. Hold yourself accountable to delivery.
  • Data storytelling: Analyze campaign performance with a critical eye, surface insights that aren't obvious, and build client-facing narratives that connect Unity's supply to upper- and mid-funnel brand outcomes - VCR, viewability, brand lift, reach/frequency, and beyond. Help clients understand not just what happened, but what it means for their brand.
  • Troubleshooting and escalation: Own the diagnosis of delivery issues, pacing discrepancies, PMP/PG deal failures, and third-party verification conflicts. Work cross-functionally with Ad Ops, Product, and Finance to reach resolution quickly and communicate clearly throughout.
  • Revenue growth: Proactively identify upsell and expansion opportunities within your accounts. Lead strategic planning conversations, propose incremental investment with a clear business case, and close those upsells with the support of your sales partners.
  • Audience strategy: Guide clients on how to leverage Unity Audience Hub - including Unity's unique gameplay and behavioral signals, 1PD CRM integration, and 3PD foundations from partners like Experian, Attain, and Foursquare - to build targeting strategies unavailable anywhere else in mobile.
  • Client education and QBRs: Lead quarterly business reviews, platform training sessions, and reporting readouts. Advise clients on format selection across Unity's creative suite - full screen video, interactive end cards, playable ads, shoppable units, and dynamic creatives - matching format to funnel stage and KPI.
  • Process and tooling: Contribute to workflow improvements, shared playbooks, and internal efficiency efforts. Use AI tools (Claude, Gemini, and others) to streamline your own workflows and raise the bar for how the team operates.

What we're looking for
  • Programmatic depth: Expert-level experience activating and troubleshooting campaigns across major DSPs - The Trade Desk, DV360, Amazon DSP, StackAdapt, Yahoo, and others. You understand how RTB auctions work, how PMP and PG deals are structured and debugged, and what causes delivery to break down at the bid, win, or render stage. You've worked across books of business exceeding $25MM+
  • Operational precision: Hands-on experience with trafficking, tag implementation, pixel QA, creative troubleshooting, and impression reconciliation. You know how to move fast without cutting corners, and you flag discrepancies before clients do.
  • Analytical mindset: Comfortable working in large datasets and turning performance data into clear, actionable stories. You don't just report numbers - you tell clients what they mean and what to do differently. Proficiency connecting campaign signals (VCR, viewability, brand lift, footfall, ROAS) to brand business objectives across funnel stages.
  • Client presence: Polished, proactive, and consultative. You've led QBRs with senior agency and brand stakeholders, delivered strategic recommendations under pressure, and built the kind of trust that leads to renewals and expanded investment. You're equally effective on a video call, in a boardroom, and at an in-person client event.
  • Communication and prioritization: You manage a complex book of business without dropping the ball. You know how to triage competing demands, communicate proactively when something is off-track, and keep both internal and external stakeholders aligned. Written and verbal communication are both strengths.

You might also have
  • Experience managing invoicing, credit checks, past-due escalations, and quarter-end revenue actualization in Salesforce or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with Unity's supply, Audience Hub, or other gaming-specific advertising platforms.
  • Experience piloting new measurement or targeting solutions in partnership with third-party vendors (Kantar, Disqo, Samba TV, Adelaide, Foursquare, etc.).
  • Vertical expertise in one or more of Unity's key advertiser categories: Entertainment, QSR, CPG, Retail, or Pharma.
