Your Role: Training Specialist I
As a Training Specialist I, you will play a key role in developing, delivering, and enhancing learning experiences that empower team members to succeed. You will support the growth and engagement of employees by creating impactful training programs, facilitating onboarding, and delivering learning solutions that align with Vibe's mission, values, and strategic goals.
This role requires someone who is passionate about learning, energized by helping others grow, and adaptable to the evolving needs of the organization. Through collaboration, creativity, and a commitment to continuous improvement, you will help foster a culture of learning that supports both employee success and exceptional member experiences.
What You'll Do:

Training Design amp; Development
  • Identify skill gaps using data, performance insights, and stakeholder feedback, recommending training solutions that drive measurable results.
  • Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to develop engaging and effective training content.
  • Create and maintain learning resources including presentations, participant guides, job aids, visual materials, quizzes, and eLearning content.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to ensure training materials are accurate, relevant, and aligned with organizational goals, policies, and procedures.
  • Explore and implement modern learning approaches including microlearning, gamification, social learning, and virtual learning strategies.
Facilitation amp; Delivery
  • Deliver engaging classroom, virtual, and one-on-one training sessions for new and existing team members.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in instructional delivery by facilitating workshops, webinars, eLearning programs, technical training, and professional development sessions.
  • Adapt facilitation style to meet the unique learning needs of participants.
  • Incorporate interactive learning opportunities that encourage participation and knowledge retention.
  • Deliver training with professionalism, enthusiasm, and confidence while embodying Vibe's culture and core values.
New Employee Onboarding amp; Employee Development
  • Lead all aspects of Vibe's New Employee Onboarding (NEO) program.
  • Facilitate onboarding sessions that help new team members feel welcomed, supported, and connected to Vibe's mission and culture.
  • Serve as a mentor and resource to new employees during their transition into the organization.
  • Support ongoing employee development programs that strengthen performance, engagement, and career growth.
Learning Administration amp; Program Coordination
  • Coordinate training logistics including scheduling, communications, materials preparation, supplies, and event execution.
  • Collaborate with the Training amp; Development team, HR, and departmental leaders to develop and maintain the annual Training Calendar.
  • Maintain and update learning materials, resources, and the Training amp; Development SharePoint site.
  • Track, monitor, and report training participation and completion through applicable systems and platforms.
  • Administer the Learning Management System (LMS), including user profiles, course assignments, reporting, and record maintenance.
  • Monitor training effectiveness through surveys, assessments, observations, and feedback.
  • Recommend and implement enhancements that improve learning outcomes and participant experiences.
  • Assist with Vibe Check sessions, new product launches, software implementations, and operational changes by developing and delivering training as needed.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging learning technologies, and professional development opportunities to continuously improve training experiences.
What We're Looking For:

Education amp; Experience
  • Minimum of two years of experience delivering instructor-led training, facilitating learning programs, or conducting on-the-job training required.
  • Experience developing training materials, support documentation, procedures, or learning resources preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Two years of experience working within a financial institution preferred.
Skills amp; Abilities
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design concepts.
  • Excellent facilitation, public speaking, and presentation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to build rapport, foster collaboration, and create an engaging learning environment.
  • Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-changing environment.
  • Ability to tailor training methods and delivery techniques to meet the needs of diverse learners.
