Midco Diving & Marine Services is the leading full-service underwater construction, inspection, and repair firm in the nation. Our work is critical-we dive deep to inspect and repair everything from municipal water tanks and bridges to dams and processing plants. Our motto says it all: "We Do That." We're not just growing; we're building a team of passionate, like-minded individuals dedicated to high-quality service.
We're looking for a Dive Supervisor who can take the lead. You'll be in charge of planning and executing all daily diving operations, with a focus on team safety and development. To ensure your success, you will step into this role as a "Supervisor in Training," completing a comprehensive supervisor training program before jumping fully into the job.
This job involves nationwide travel and the chance to represent our company on challenging, one-of-a-kind projects. It's an opportunity to grow your career, mentor others, and become a crucial part of a successful, growing team.
What You'll Do
  • Lead and Mentor: Guide a team of divers, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Comprehensive Training: Complete our hands-on supervisor in training program to fully master Midco's safety standards, operational protocols, and leadership expectations before leading independent field operations.
  • Safety First: Enforce rigorous safety protocols, including conducting daily safety meetings to address site-specific hazards.
  • Operational Excellence: Plan and execute all daily diving operations, ensuring projects are completed on time and meet our high standards.
  • Quality Control: Uphold company standards for all customer projects, including cleaning, inspection, repair, and reporting.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with your team, upper management, and customers to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Administrative Management: Complete daily paperwork, including logs, reports, and work orders, accurately and on time.
  • Travel and Adaptability: Be prepared for extensive year-round travel and to work in various climates and demanding conditions, including heights and confined spaces.

What We're Looking For
  • 1+ years of potable diving experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Commercial Dive School Diploma
  • ADCI Dive Physical (completed within the last year)
  • CPR/First Aid certifications
  • Current ADCI Diver Card
  • Valid driver's license
  • Proven ability to manage a team and follow direction from management
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
