Position Overview

Bloom Talent Solutions is seeking a Senior Account Manager to oversee a $4 million commercial landscape account in Miami, FL, with a focus on managing roadside landscaping for the Miami Expressway. This hybrid role combines account management and operational oversight, including leading a 30-person crew. The ideal candidate is polished, nimble, and adept at setting clear expectations while building strong relationships with both clients and production teams.

This role is pivotal to ensuring seamless communication with a single point of contact (POC), managing large-scale roadside operations, and driving client satisfaction and team performance in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Client and Account Management

  • Oversee a $4 million account, including all roadside landscaping and maintenance for the Miami Expressway.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact (POC) for the client, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships, providing proactive updates and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Set and manage client expectations with a focus on exceptional service and results.

Team Leadership and Operations

  • Manage a 30-person crew responsible for roadside maintenance and landscaping operations.
  • Direct on-site teams, ensuring high productivity, safety, and quality standards across all projects.
  • Build rapport with the production team to foster a collaborative and high-performing culture.
  • Learn and navigate the intricacies of the road system and maintenance requirements for the Miami Expressway.

Hybrid Role

  • Balance responsibilities between strategic account management and on-site operational leadership.
  • Ensure alignment between client goals and crew performance, driving operational excellence.
  • Provide leadership in managing budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Industry Experience: Proven experience in landscape maintenance and account management, particularly in large-scale roadside or highway operations. 
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage crews of 30 or more while overseeing complex accounts.
  • Client-Centric: Polished and professional, with excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Operational Expertise: Skilled in managing budgets, schedules, and resources to achieve operational and financial goals.
  • Nimble and Strategic: Adaptable in dynamic environments with a strong ability to set and communicate clear expectations.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 
  • Experience: 5+ years in account management and operational leadership in landscape maintenance or a related industry.

Skills:

  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in managing crews and overseeing large-scale operations.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with Aspire software and roadside maintenance best practices.

Other Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
