At Justice Grown, we're looking for a dynamic retail leader who knows how to inspire people, drive results, and create an exceptional customer experience.

As a General Manager, you'll lead all aspects of dispensary operations-from developing an engaged, high-performing team to delivering outstanding financial results and ensuring operational excellence every day. You'll have the opportunity to build a culture where employees thrive, customers feel welcomed, and business goals are consistently exceeded.

What You'll Do

As the General Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall success of the dispensary by leading people, driving profitability, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Lead all day-to-day dispensary operations while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.

  • Inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing leadership team and dispensary staff.

  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain top talent while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.

  • Drive sales performance and consistently achieve key business objectives and KPIs.

  • Own the financial performance of the dispensary, including payroll forecasting, labor management, budgeting, expense control, and P&L accountability.

  • Analyze business trends and implement strategies that maximize revenue, improve operational efficiency, and enhance profitability.

  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, state cannabis regulations, and applicable laws.

  • Maintain accurate inventory through effective inventory management, auditing, and loss prevention practices.

  • Foster a culture centered on safety, compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

  • Monitor staffing needs and create schedules that balance customer demand with financial objectives.

  • Collaborate with corporate partners and senior leadership to successfully execute company initiatives.

  • Complete operational reporting, administrative responsibilities, and required documentation accurately and on time

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support business needs.


What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is an experienced retail leader who is passionate about developing people, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and driving operational excellence.

Qualifications include:

  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience, preferably in retail management.

  • Proven ability to drive sales and consistently exceed performance goals in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated success building, coaching, and developing high-performing teams with a strong focus on talent development, mentorship, and succession planning.

  • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

  • Exceptional customer service skills with a solutions-oriented mindset.

  • Experience successfully managing change while remaining adaptable in a dynamic business environment.

  • Open to giving and receiving constructive feedback and creating a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Experience overseeing all aspects of retail operations, including merchandising, financial performance, inventory management, labor planning, and loss prevention.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience managing budgets, payroll, and profit and loss statements.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.

  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on business needs.

  • Commitment to maintaining compliance with all applicable state cannabis regulations and company policies.


Supervisory Responsibilities

This position directly supervises dispensary leadership and team members. Responsibilities include recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, corrective action, succession planning, professional development, and, when necessary, separation decisions. The General Manager is expected to build and maintain a high-performing team that consistently achieves operational and financial goals while fostering an inclusive, engaging, and accountable workplace culture.


Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
