Position Summary
The Technology engineer ensures that the organization’s IT infrastructure and end-user technology are reliable, secure, well-managed, and fit for business use. The role provides responsive, customer-focused technical support and serves as a dependable partner to internal teams by resolving issues, improving service delivery, and enabling users to work effectively. In line with the organization’s Continuous Improvement (CI) culture, this position actively identifies opportunities to simplify processes, strengthen technology operations, and enhance the overall user experience. Success requires a combination of strong technical capability, service ownership, and practical business awareness so that IT systems support day-to-day operations while contributing to wider strategic goals.
Technology Engineers work as part of a broader team to provide resilient coverage and scalable support. Individual team members may develop deeper expertise in specific areas such as end-user device management, infrastructure, security, manufacturing applications, or Microsoft 365, while still contributing across the wider technology environment. The position helps protect business continuity and support future growth through disciplined system management, proactive performance improvement, and consistent application of operational best practices.
This role will suite an individual with formal IT knowledge who wants to have a wider experience and exposure to technology.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor system and device performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement upgrades or patches.
  • Ensure systems and devices comply with organizational policies and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to deliver technology solutions that meet business needs.
  • Document system and device configurations, procedures, and processes.
  • Support disaster recovery, business continuity planning and Cyber Incident response planning.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and contribute to Continuous improvement across IT operations.
  • Proud of keeping shared IT equipment well sorted.
  • Contribute to and alignment with Group IT technical, process and procedural standards
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by prioritizing user experience and responsiveness in all technical interactions.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills of software, hardware and other technology equipment.
  • Deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, cloud and security platforms. Responsible for local site racking and stacking
  • Manage the lifecycle of end user devices (desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals), including deployment, configuration, and support.
  • Contribute to improvements to asset management.
Required Minimum Qualifications/Competencies
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA, CISSP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a customer-first mindset.
• Experience with enterprise IT infrastructure and end user device management.
• Familiarity with Continuous Improvement (CI) principles and ability to apply them in daily work.
• Diverse hands-on experience with technologies and vendors.
