Position Summary...The Product & Launch Operations role drives the operating cadence, tooling hygiene, and cross-functional readiness required to plan, deliver, and launch a product portfolio predictably and efficiently. This role owns portfolio planning operations and roadmap governance within Airtable/Beacon, ensures KPI alignment and tracking across teams, surfaces portfolio risks and tradeoffs, and leads readiness management for major initiatives across Product, TPM, Engineering, Launch Ops, and key cross-functional partners (PMM, Sales, CS, Analytics). What you'll do...Portfolio Planning Operations & Cadence
  • Own the planning operating model for the portfolio (annual/quarterly cadences), including timelines, templates, and required inputs/outputs.
  • Run portfolio forums (e.g., planning reviews, prioritization checkpoints, execution health reviews) to drive alignment and decision-making.
  • Standardize planning artifacts and ensure teams follow consistent processes for intake, prioritization, and sequencing.
Roadmap Source of Truth
  • Maintain the portfolio roadmap system of record by enforcing Airtable/Beacon hygiene: data completeness, taxonomy, ownership, and update cadence.
  • Define and manage roadmap governance (required fields, definitions, validation rules, and change controls).
  • Ensure roadmap data is reliable for downstream reporting, launch planning, and executive communications.
KPI Alignment and Tracking
  • Ensure KPIs are defined, instrumented, and aligned across teams (delivery, adoption, quality, reliability, customer outcomes) during the beginning of the planning cycle (before launch readiness).
  • Establish metric definitions and governance like metric dictionary, calculation logic, refresh cadence, and ownership.
  • Build and enable reporting that provides leadership-ready visibility into portfolio performance and launch outcomes, with consistent and reliable tracking metrics.
Portfolio Management
  • Proactively surface portfolio risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs; drive mitigation plans and decision points.
  • Coordinate dependency mapping across teams and functions, and maintain escalation paths and resolution timelines.
  • Provide clear, concise narratives for leadership on impacts to scope, timeline, resourcing, and customer outcomes.
Roadmap Change Management
  • Own the process for roadmap changes (scope shifts, sequencing changes, date changes), including intake, impact assessment, approvals, and communications.
  • Ensure changes are reflected consistently across Airtable/Beacon and communicated to impacted stakeholders.
  • Maintain a decision log and change history to support transparency and reduce churn.
Major Initiative / Project Readiness Management
  • Manage readiness for major projects across PM, TPM, Engineering, Launch Ops, and XFNs (PMM, Sales, CS, Analytics).
  • Drive readiness criteria and evidence-based checkpoints (requirements clarity, delivery plan, support readiness, enablement, analytics/measurement plan).
  • Coordinate launch communications, enablement needs, and stakeholder alignment to ensure smooth execution through GTM, with partnership across Release Management.
Cross-Functional Launch Coordination
  • Partner with Launch Ops and XFNs to coordinate launch communications, launch enablement, product training, and launch support preparation.
  • Ensure launch artifacts are complete, shared (launch brief, FAQs, release notes, support playbooks, measurement plan), and comprehended by stakeholders and external partners.
  • Facilitate escalation and issue resolution during critical launch windows.

What You'll Bring...
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8-12+ years of experience in product operations, program management, technology operations, or launch operations.
  • Demonstrated experience running portfolio cadences and cross-functional planning processes.
  • Experience maintaining roadmap tooling and data hygiene (e.g., Airtable/Beacon or similar systems).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence without authority.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience partnering with PMM, Sales, CS/Support, and Analytics on launch readiness and GTM execution.
  • Experience defining KPI frameworks and metric governance across multiple product teams.
  • Familiarity with dependency management and portfolio-level tradeoff facilitation.

Core Competencies
  • Portfolio planning and operating cadence design
  • Roadmap governance and change management
  • KPI definition, alignment, and reporting
  • Dependency/risk management and escalation
  • Cross-functional readiness and launch coordination
  • Executive-ready communication and storytelling

Success Measures of Candidacy and Role Acumen
  • Roadmap data completeness/accuracy and stakeholder trust in Airtable/Beacon as the source of truth
  • Improved on-time delivery and reduced last-minute roadmap churn through effective change management
  • Clear KPI alignment across teams with consistent reporting and decision-making
