Job description

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to serve as the company’s sole IT resource, providing end-to-end technology support across manufacturing, packaging, warehouse, and corporate environments. This is a highly hands-on role responsible for managing all aspects of IT independently, from day-to-day service desk support and user troubleshooting to infrastructure maintenance, systems administration, vendor coordination, and technology planning. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working autonomously, resolving a high volume of technical issues, and ensuring reliable, secure IT operations across the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the single point of contact for all IT needs, delivering responsive support to users across operational and corporate teams.
  • Provide extensive service desk, desktop support, and troubleshooting for hardware, software, network connectivity, printers, communication tools, Microsoft 365, and other business systems.
  • Oversee the performance, maintenance, and support of all company technology assets, including workstations, servers, network infrastructure, internet services, and connected devices.
  • Support core business and operational platforms used across production and office functions, including manufacturing systems, Microsoft 365, e-commerce tools, and accounting-related integrations.
  • Monitor system performance and quickly resolve technical issues to minimize downtime and keep business-critical applications and production-support technologies running smoothly.
  • Independently manage infrastructure and system improvements, including upgrades, patching, enhancements, and technology projects that improve efficiency, reliability, and security.
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, access controls, and security settings across business systems and facility-related technologies.
  • Maintain backup processes, disaster recovery measures, and business continuity practices to reduce risk and protect company operations.
  • Create and maintain IT documentation, procedures, asset records, and policies to support consistency, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors, consultants, and service providers for escalated support, procurement, system changes, and ongoing technology needs.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools, systems, and process improvements that can enhance productivity, strengthen security, and support business growth.

• At least 5 years of IT support experience

• Strong background in Microsoft 365 administration, networking, cybersecurity, cloud platforms, and systems administration.

• Experience supporting business or manufacturing system environments in an operational setting.

• Clear communication skills with the ability to work effectively with leadership, employees, and external partners.

• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where a significant portion of the role involves hands-on troubleshooting, service desk support, and resolving urgent technical issues independently.
