Job Summary:ย 

Leads enterprise infrastructure, cloud, and IT operations, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable technology services. Oversees networks, service desk, telecom, PC hardware, Microsoft 365, data center and Azure cloud operations. Drives operational excellence, service quality, and modernization through strong leadership, vendor management, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure & Cloud Operations

  • Lead enterprise infrastructure and cloud operations, including servers, storage, virtualization, backup, and

  • disaster recovery.

  • Oversee Azure cloud environment, including governance, performance, cost management, and operational

  • standards.

  • Drive cloud transformation initiatives, including migration from on-premises infrastructure to hybrid/cloud solutions.

  • Ensure system availability, scalability, security, and business continuity across all platforms.

  • Network Operations

  • Oversee enterprise network and telecom services, including connectivity, security infrastructure, and

  • carrier/vendor relationships.

  • Ensure network performance, capacity planning, and high availability across all locations.

  • Lead incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.

  • Partner with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance and protection of network environments.

  • Data Center / Hosting Environment Management

  • Oversee on-premises and hosting environments during cloud transition, ensuring stability and operational control.

  • Lead data center migration, consolidation, and decommissioning initiatives.

  • Ensure effective backup, recovery, and disaster recovery capabilities.

  • End-User & Service Operations

  • Direct service desk and end-user support operations, ensuring high-quality, responsive service delivery.

  • Establish and monitor service levels, performance metrics, and customer satisfaction.

  • Oversee Microsoft 365 platform operations and collaboration tools.

  • Improve IT service management practices, including incidents, problems, and change management.

  • Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop infrastructure and IT operations teams.

  • Establish clear roles, goals, and performance expectations.

  • Build a high-performing, customer-focused culture.

  • Foster strong partnerships across security, applications, and business leadership.

  • Governance, Vendors & Financial Management

  • Manage vendors, contracts, and service agreements supporting infrastructure and operations.

  • Develop and track KPIs related to system performance, service delivery, and cloud operations.

  • Support budget planning and cost optimization across infrastructure, cloud, and telecom.

  • Drive operational governance, process improvement, and alignment with organizational and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

  • Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., Azure, ITIL, infrastructure or networking certifications)

  • 8 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure and operations, including leadership roles

  • Demonstrated experience managing enterprise infrastructure, networks, and service operations

  • Experience supporting or leading Azure cloud environments and cloud transformation initiatives

  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage vendors, and oversee operational performance

  • Technical expertise in:

  • Microsoft Azure cloud services and operations

  • Microsoft 365 enterprise platforms

  • Enterprise infrastructure (servers, storage, virtualization, backup, disaster recovery)

  • Networking and connectivity environments

  • IT service management frameworks and tools

Compensation Range: $135,000 - $156,000 (based on experience)

Physical Requirements:ย 

  • Prolonged use of a computer and standard office equipment.

  • Occasional standing, walking, and light lifting (up to 50 pounds).

  • The ability to communicate effectively and visually review information is necessary.
