Job Summary

The IT Operations & Business Systems Manager owns the day-to-day operational management of Information Technology for Nortek Data Center Cooling. This role ensures that operational needs are translated into clearrequirements,vendors are managed effectively, renewals and purchases are tracked, and projects move forward without friction.
While core server and infrastructure engineeringishandled by a centralized infrastructure team, this role is accountable for handing off infrastructure work, coordinating execution, tracking progress, and driving completion. The environment is fast-moving, growth-oriented, and low-bureaucracy, requiring comfort with decision-making, prioritization, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

IT Operations & Administration

  • Own day-to-day IT operations across manufacturing, warehouse, and office locations
  • Function as the IT clearinghouse-prioritizing requests, determining ownership, and ensuring the right teams are engaged.
  • Ensure IT processes support a fast-growing manufacturing business

Procurement,Purchasing& Renewals

  • Generate and track purchase orders for IT hardware, software, and services
  • Maintainaccuraterecords of licenses, subscriptions, renewals, and support agreements
  • Proactively manage renewals to prevent lapses andidentifycost savings
  • Coordinate with Purchasing and Accounting to verify IT invoices

Vendor & Partner Management

  • Own vendor and reseller relationships for IT software, hardware, and services
  • Manage support escalations and ensure vendors meet SLAs
  • Negotiate renewals, pricing, and support terms when appropriate

Project Coordination & Delivery

  • Act as the IT project coordinator and business owner for initiatives
  • Translate business needs into clear technical requirements
  • Track milestones and aggressively follow up to ensure completion
  • Communicate timelines, risks, and blockers clearly

ERP & Business Systems Support

  • Serve as backup administrator for Infor SyteLine
  • Support user management, access, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Perform light business analysis and process improvement

Cloud & Application Collaboration

  • Interface with centralized teams managing Azure, servers, and infrastructure
  • Maintainworking familiarity with Azure services and Azure DevOps
  • Coordinate across DEV, TEST, and PROD environments

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience managing day-to-day IT operations
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Infor SyteLine
  • Experience acting as a liaison between business and technical teams
  • Experience with IT project coordination or business systems analysis

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing or factory IT environments
  • Background in procurement, license management, and vendor coordination
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure, and Azure DevOps
