Job Summary:

The Sr. IT Manager, Operations - 3PL & DC Technology Services is responsible for providing single point of accountability playing a key role in delivering Supply Chain Business Systems within the Information Technology team, provides overall people and technology leadership on IT engagement processes, provides thoughtful leadership on strategic direction (business & IT), and provides results leadership that ensures successful delivery of Supply chain Programs / Projects for McKesson's Business Units.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the management of SAP systems in the order-to-cash, procure-to-pay and warehouse management solutions and all applications integrated with SAP, ensuring they are aligned with business processes and objectives.
  • Ensure successful delivery of supply chain programs/projects using SAP and other tools for multiple business units in the Warehouse Management Systems, Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash areas.
  • Collaborate with the AMS partner to ensure the optimal performance, availability, and stability of supply chain applications like SAP WMS.
  • Oversee the resolution of incidents and problems related to SAP and non-SAP related applications, ensuring minimal business disruption and ensure permanent solutions are put into place for all such critical issues.
  • Build high-performance delivery teams that drive and champion change and stakeholder management.
  • Lead operations, overseeing application reliability, security, and troubleshooting.
  • Govern IT standards for solution delivery ensuring stability and scalability meeting supply chain needs of the business units and ensure standards, processes, and policies are followed to enable integrity and quality of solution delivery
  • Develop stakeholder relationships, share best practices, and ensure communication with IT and business operations
  • Lead the planning and implementation of SAP upgrades, patches and enhancements in coordination with the multiple implementation partners.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the organization and the MSP service provider for all matters related to SAP Application Management
  • Monitor the outsourcing partner's adherence to SLAs and KPIs, particularly those related to SAP and other non-SAP applications and address any service delivery issues.
  • Provide regular review and report results to IT Leadership to ensure they meet evolving business needs and provide inputs for leveraging opportunities for service optimization.
  • Provide strategic guidance on the use of SAP and non-SAP applications to enhance business processes and operational efficiency.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and the MSP partner to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the SAP and related non-SAP applications ecosystem.
  • Ensure compliance across all SAP and non-SAP applications related to the service delivery for distribution and customer service business groups.
  • Facilitate regular audits and compliance checks to maintain high standards of governance and control.
  • Lead change management initiatives for SAP and non-SAP related applications, coordinating with the IT and business partners to ensure smooth and effective implementation.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to capture learnings and continuously improve the SAP application management process.
  • Develop and support safe and optimal Global DC Operational processes and systems, to eliminate waste and manual efforts across Receiving, Putaway, Picking, and Outbound Logistics functions
  • Support and conduct regular reviews of all DC Operational systems and activities covering methods, procedures, and efficiencies to ensure continuous improvement
  • Report and monitor DC Systems usage and productivity, identifying issues, and trends and providing results to DC Management accordingly
  • Coordinate DC systems/WMS upgrades along with internal and external IT resources
  • Develop and deploy DC system and process SOPs, with regular audits and version control for each SOP
  • Communicate with multiple levels within the organization - from brainstorming with individual business system analysts to discussing actionable strategy with leadership
  • Work with senior leadership to manage demand, capacity, and budgets

  • Expert knowledge of business systems processes within the logistics domain, including Order-to-Cash (Order management, fulfillment, and warehouse mgmt. systems), Procure-to-Pay (Direct Procurement, demand planning, Receiving and warehouse mgmt. systems).

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 12 years' experience planning, managing, developing, executing and maintaining SAP WMS/EWM or other ERP solutions in a large-scale, enterprise environment
  • Minimum ten years of SAP or other ERP delivery leadership and end to end implementation experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in providing Supply Chain solutions, preferably within an SAP environment utilizing a CoE support model.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a people manager
  • Proficiency in business process knowledge within distribution space.
  • Experience in managing employees and external vendors & resources.
  • Extensive knowledge of IT governance, operations, and security practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing IT services, with a strong understanding of managed service delivery.
  • Proficient in application landscape, including both SAAS and on-premises solutions.
  • Familiarity with ITIL and similar IT service management frameworks, with certifications being a plus.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong background in ERP concepts and functionality in an SAP S/4 HANA environment, including master data management, procurement, order to cash and warehousing
