JOB DESCRIPTION:
POSITION PURPOSE
Develop and manage the annual marketing research plan including selecting appropriate research methodologies and supporting techniques to meet defined business objectives which may include any of the following initiatives: brand, channel, customer segment or product / services. Drive execution of the research plans, build close executional relationships with internal clients and external vendors. Develop insights from research, deliver concise output reports and make recommendations to the business.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and execute annual marketing research plans aligned with business segment goals, brand initiatives, and key stakeholder objectives.
  • Lead primary and secondary research efforts across brand, customer, channel, product, and service initiatives to generate actionable business insights.
  • Design and manage qualitative and quantitative research programs throughout all stages of the product and service lifecycle.
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders to identify strategic business challenges and deliver research-based recommendations that support decision-making.
  • Select and oversee appropriate research methodologies, including questionnaire, survey, and moderator guide development.
  • Direct all aspects of primary research execution, including data analysis, reporting, findings interpretation, and presentation of actionable recommendations.
  • Establish and continuously improve research processes, reporting frameworks, syndicated research distribution methods, and sustainable data management practices.
  • Manage research budgets, project timelines, vendor relationships, and industry partnerships while representing Andersen Corporation in relevant professional associations and planning initiatives

DIRECTION OF OTHERS
Provides direct supervision to 3-5 Marketing Analysts (Associate, Manager, Sr.) or Project Managers within specific assigned segment.
Works cross-functionally with Segment Marketing Team, Marketing Services, Sales, Channel Team, CCC, IT, Finance, Market Analysis, and Product Management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION, SKILL AND/OR COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
  • Four-year college degree in business or Marketing. MBA preferred.
  • 5-10 years experience in applied marketing with a minimum of 7 years marketing research experience.
  • Academic and practical experience with a wide array of new product, brand, advertising and customer satisfaction research methodologies strongly preferred.
  • Leadership skills to lead major research initiatives and teach, train and develop departmental capabilities.
  • High-level analytical and research skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills.
  • Influence management and negotiation skills to work cross-functionally with internal partners and clients.

COMPENSATION:
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process
PAY RANGE:
$111,137.00 - $172,263.00

PROFIT SHARING: In 2026 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
