Job description

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, supervises, orients, educates, counsels and supports the nursing staff, in collaboration with the Nurse Managers and Staff Education and Development Coordinator. Represents administration in the overall management of the hospital, in the absence of nursing administration and managers. Participates as a member of the Nursing Management team. B.S. in Nursing required; M.S.in Nursing or related field preferred. Must be licensed to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Supervisory skills preferred. ACLS required.
