We are looking for an experienced Strategy & Operations powerhouse to join Candid. The Strategy and Operations team serves as Candid's internal consulting and execution function, partnering with leaders across the organization to solve critical business challenges, improve operational performance, and scale key strategic initiatives.

This Manager, Strategy & Operations role is ideal for someone who enjoys tackling ambiguous problems, building alignment across teams, and driving solutions from idea to implementation as a senior individual contributor. One month you may be improving partnership performance, the next you may be helping scale a new product line, optimize manufacturing operations, or lead a company-wide initiative. No two quarters look the same.

You will report directly to the Chief Strategy Officer and work closely with leaders across Product, Clinical, Operations, Manufacturing, Commercial, and Partnerships. This role requires up to 30% travel.

 We will accept candidates based in the United States and Canada. To be considered for this role, candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
 
 
What You'll Do
  • Serve as an internal consultant and operator to identify, prioritize, and solve some of Candid's most important business challenges
  • Lead special projects and strategic initiatives on behalf of executive leadership, driving alignment and execution across multiple teams through influence
  • Own and scale partnership operations by working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful partnership performance and execution
  • Diagnose partnership health and performance, identify operational bottlenecks, and develop scalable processes that support continued growth
  • Translate performance data into strategic recommendations to guide product, clinical, and commercial decisions for Oliv, Candid's orthodontist-focused product offering
  • Partner with Product, Clinical, and Commercial teams to identify opportunities to improve conversion, adoption, retention, and overall funnel performance
  • Program manage key strategic initiatives supporting Oliv growth, including clinical product enhancements, AI-enabled workflow improvements, and operational scaling efforts
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across teams to ensure initiatives remain on track and deliver measurable business outcomes
  • Own and continuously improve key operational metrics across the Candid treatment journey and manufacturing to identify and implement process improvements within the customer journey, digital treatment planning, and manufacturing workflows
  • Use data, experimentation, and operational rigor to drive impact and continuously optimize processes across the business
 
 
What You'll Need 
  • 5+ years of experience in strategy, management consulting, business operations, operations leadership, or a related field
  • Exceptional business judgment and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results
  • Proven track record of leading complex cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to identify opportunities, influence decisions, and measure business impact
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools and automation to increase personal productivity, improve team effectiveness, and drive business outcomes
  • Experience using SQL, Looker, Tableau, Sigma, or similar analytical tools preferred
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience influencing senior leaders and aligning teams around a common objective
  • Strong project and program management capabilities with an ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Clear results orientation with a bias toward action and ownership
  • Demonstrated ability to build scalable processes and operational systems in fast-paced environments
  • Experience in healthcare, healthtech, SaaS, operations, or manufacturing environments is a plus
  • High intellectual curiosity and a willingness to dive deep into unfamiliar problems
  • Comfortable operating in dynamic environments where priorities evolve quickly
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%, including international travel

Our range for this role is $155,000 - 170,000. Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes equity, benefits, and other perks. To determine our range, we consider as many of the following data points as are available to us: external market salary survey data, experience level, skillset and balancing internal equity relative to our other employees. We include equity in our compensation packages because we believe our employees should have an option to purchase ownership in the company and benefit from what we hope will be a lot of upside growth. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at Candid to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors.
