Salary Range: $118,000.00 To $147,000.00 Annually

ONSITE

Responsible for supporting development of the strategic plan and strategic initiatives, managing key strategy projects, and providing recommendations to executive leader and the Board of Directors. In this highly visible role, the Manager works across the organization to design, support, and drive ongoing strategies of Sunkist and FGS. This role works closely with the executive leadership team to understand the business/industry at the highest level, deliver impactful projects that will change the trajectory of the organization, and be part of a high-performing team

Essential Job functions/ Duties:
  • Drives long-term and annual strategic planning process including supporting the executive team in shaping long-term strategy and goals
  • Conducts competitive and industry trend analysis, deriving actionable strategic insights to support the business
  • Evaluates current business and new opportunities with a strategic framework and problem-solving toolkit
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency and supports the design of new processes
  • Evaluates expansion and growth opportunities (e.g., new territory, new product segment, new technology, investment, acquisitions, JV/partnerships, etc.) and develops the supporting business cases and implementation plans in association with cross-functional teams and leaders
  • Defines KPIs and key metrics for the company and business units and tracks progress against the strategic plan with business unit leaders
  • Interprets the strategic plan for cross-functional teammates and communicate effectively to them
  • Acts as an agent of change to influence and prepare people within the organization to act with urgency
  • Performs other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Certifications/Licenses, and Experience)
  • Minimum Five years’ experience in Management consulting and/or in-house strategy experience; CPG experience highly preferred
  • Minimum Four-year bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Finance, or similar.
  • Preferred Graduate Degree MBA
  • Preferred Valid Driver’s License
  • Possesses analytical skills: highly skilled in excel modeling, being able to run valuations and detect trend/insights quickly
  • Possesses problem-solving skills: ability to structure ambiguous problems, bring logic to drive key analyses, and synthesize analyses to actionable insights
  • Possesses relationship management skills with the ability to create strong working relationships with all levels of the organization, including influencing the executive leadership team
  • Possesses communication skills: ability to tailor presentation and communication to audience, translating highly complex concepts into succinct and digestible formats
  • Possesses Project Management skills including experience with setting up and managing projects in a complex environment
  • Possesses a can-do attitude: highly motivated self-starter with a willingness to remove obstacles and manage and align cross-functional stakeholders
  • Possesses technical abilities to quickly learn systems and work with teams to connect data sources to generate insights
  • Ability to leverage AI to drive organizational productivity a plus
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential functions consistent with Sunkist/Fruit Growers standards, and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
  • Ability to concentrate and focus to meet numerous project deadlines
