Role and Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Manager, Strategic People Initiatives will lead high-priority assignments from senior executives and HR leadership that do not fit within established Employee Experience or Talent Development programs. This role will serve as a flexible internal consultant, facilitator, and relationship builder-turning broad priorities into practical, well-executed initiatives. The successful candidate will build credibility across the business, identify opportunities to strengthen engagement and trust, and move comfortably between strategic planning and hands-on delivery. This is an individual-contributor role with broad organizational exposure.

Roles & Responsibility

  • Lead executive-sponsored special projects and emerging people initiatives.
  • Translate ambiguous requests into clear objectives, work plans, deliverables, and measures of success.
  • Build trusted relationships with executives, HR Business Partners, business leaders, managers, and employees.
  • Identify opportunities to improve employee engagement, trust, and the overall employee experience.
  • Design and facilitate executive sessions, workshops, leadership meetings, employee events, focus groups, and working sessions.
  • Prepare executive presentations, recommendations, talking points, toolkits, and implementation plans.
  • Support Employee Experience and Talent Development during major programs, launches, and peak workload periods.
  • Improve existing programs by strengthening participation, relevance, efficiency, and impact.
  • Use approved AI, large language models, analytics, and automation to support research, content development, reporting, and project execution.
  • Track outcomes, stakeholder feedback, risks, decisions, and follow-up actions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in HR consulting, employee experience, culture, engagement, talent, communications, or program management.
  • Experience leading executive-sponsored, cross-functional, or high-visibility initiatives.
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to establish credibility with senior leaders.
  • Strong relationship-building, consulting, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to structure ambiguous assignments and move them quickly toward execution.
  • Strong business judgment and the ability to balance employee and organizational needs.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation-development, and executive-communication skills.
  • Experience using AI, automation, analytics, or digital tools to improve research, communication, reporting, or project workflows.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

  • Experience in a global, matrixed, or Korean-headquartered organization.
  • Experience partnering directly with executives or global headquarters stakeholders.
  • Experience across multiple HR disciplines.
  • Korean-language proficiency is helpful but not required.
