A Day in the Life

As a District Manager, you must possess excellent people manager skills, train, mentor, manage and develop Project Managers to support the growth plans of the Company. You'll need at least 7+ years of experience of source testing experience and welcome the opportunity to make an impact from day one.

The compensation range for this role is $110k-$135k annually.

To thrive in this role, you'll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities:

  • Follow established procedures, and processes to help support consistent and reliable source testing
  • Assessing client goals, regulatory requirements, and relevant data to craft technical proposals, test plans, and technical reports
  • Analyze and interpret source testing data and permits
  • Supervise, train, mentor the Stack Project Managers to promote team building, employee retention, recruiting and morale
  • Workday review and approval of all time sheets and expenses for their direct reports
  • Along with the RVPs, be responsible for executing initiatives and monitoring compliance at the local office level
  • Managing all technical, financial, and administrative aspects of stationary source testing programs, and projects
  • Determining, overseeing, coordinating, and adjusting project timelines
  • Allocating and directing resources to ensure satisfaction of project goals, timelines, and technical requirements
  • Perform annual employee performance reviews. Provide compensation input and promotion recommendations for their direct reports
  • Be engaged in the safety culture. Responsible for local office Safety training and compliance following Corporate Safety Team's lead

Your Expertise and Skills

These requirements reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities that help you do your best work here.

  • 7+ years minimum of stack testing experience
  • Extensive knowledge of EPA source test methods/procedures, air quality or emission monitors, etc.
  • Extensive knowledge in applicable Federal, State and Local regulations
  • Experience managing client relationships and overseeing client projects, including budgeting, and managing project costs
  • Ability to maintain and apply a broad understanding of financial management principles and business acumen and review/evaluation of cost center P&L
  • Ability and willingness to travel both locally and out-of-town with overnight stays as required
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Capability to pass background checks and initial and random drug screening
  • Valid driver's license
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Navigate a dynamic, fast-paced, rapidly growing environment, and adapt to changing priorities

  • Ability to work in outdoor industrial settings, including climbing to and working on elevated platforms (50ft - 300ft) in accordance withOSHA/ANSIandother applicablesafetystandards
  • Must be able to exert moderate physical effort, including lifting heavy materials up to 50 pounds
  • Often works outdoors and may be exposed to hot and cold environments and extreme weather conditions, including sunlit, rainy and windy conditions
  • Sitting, standing, and walking
