Job Overview

Spectrum Paint, the largest independent paint company in the U.S., is seeking a results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead sales team in the Tampa, Florida region. This role is ideal for an experienced sales leader who thrives on hitting targets, developing teams, and growing market share.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets

  • Lead, coach, and manage a regional sales team

  • Set and track weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales goals

  • Identify new business opportunities and establish new customer accounts

  • Grow existing accounts by expanding product offerings

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships

  • Provide product recommendations and application guidance

  • Monitor market trends, competition, and customer needs

  • Resolve customer issues and ensure high satisfaction

  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting

  • Participate in hiring, training, and performance management

Requirements
  • Must live in or be willing to relocate to the Tampa, FL area

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in protective coatings sales or specification

  • Previous experience managing or leading a sales team

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

  • Willingness to travel as needed

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in architectural, commercial, or industrial paint or coatings

  • Prior experience in a regional or senior sales leadership role (multiple territory management)

Work Location

Tampa, FL, and surrounding territory (travel required)
