Job description

This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.

At Spectrum, you will join our team as an Business Client Service Representative, providing expert post-installation support for account changes, billing inquiries and audit functions. By ensuring accounts are accurate and concerns are resolved promptly, you will contribute directly to client satisfaction and the reliability of our services. 


How You Will Make an Impact

  • Partner with clients to process move, add or change requests across Enterprise, SMB and residential bulk products, including upgrades and account modifications
  • Oversee order management from post-sales through order entry, ensuring timely service within departmental guidelines
  • Review, research and resolve client concerns such as billing disputes, aging activity and disconnects, addressing inquiries efficiently
  • Identify discrepancies in contract or billing systems and collaborate with internal teams to request and implement corrections
  • Audit, validate and update customer information, keeping billing and CRM systems synchronized for accurate reporting
  • Troubleshoot varying situations, engaging appropriate resources to meet customer commitments and resolve root causes
  • Remain knowledgeable about supported products, services and systems to provide informed assistance
  • Participate in quality coaching sessions to ensure efficient and effective customer interactions
  • Communicate work-related concerns to supervisors and comply with departmental SLAs and company policies

Education

  • Associate’s degree in business or equivalent field

Experience

  • 3 + years of telecommunications or cable industry knowledge
  • 2 + years of ICOMS and/or CSG billing and data entry experience
  • 2 + years of experience with Customer Relationship Management databases such as Salesforce
  • Skills
  • Read, write, speak and understand English
  • Ability to learn quickly and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills for working under time constraints with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility to work, day and evening hours as needed
  • Effective understanding of billing systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and working knowledge of the Internet, email and browsers
  • Team-oriented, self-motivated and dedicated approach with strong initiative
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and excellent follow-up abilities
