SOC Architect

Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a SOC Architect to support CyberPRIMES cybersecurity, privacy, records and information management, and related enterprise support for DHRA, including DMDC and OUSD(P&R). Clearance:  Active Secret

Location:  Seaside, CA

Responsibilities

  • Design and mature SOC operational processes and technical capabilities across DCDC operations, SOC monitoring, incident response, external-connectivity compliance, and penetration-testing interfaces.
  • Develop and maintain SOC architecture, monitoring strategies, procedures, playbooks, escalation paths, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Integrate event, endpoint, user-activity, and network-security monitoring to support timely detection, analysis, and response.
  • Coordinate SOC capabilities with Cybersecurity Service Providers, cyber-tool teams, incident responders, network stakeholders, and penetration testers.
  • Recommend improvements that strengthen operational visibility, automation, threat detection, and response effectiveness.
  • Apply cybersecurity lifecycle, architecture, engineering, operations, compliance, methodology-development, requirements-analysis, and alternative-assessment expertise to SOC design and maturation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and five years of experience.
  • Must be U.S. Citizen
  • A Secret clearance is required when the assigned duties require classified information or SIPRNet access.

Compensation Range: 

  • The anticipated salary range the Employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is $ $130,000 to $176,000 annually.
