Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Sign Language Interpreter (SLI)

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and qualified Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) in or near Port Orchard, WA for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.

Position Details:

Full-Time

Onsite Position 

2026-2027 School Year


Responsibilities:

Facilitate communication between the student, teachers, staff, and peers
Provide accurate sign language interpretation in educational settings
Support student access to academic instruction and school activities
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and administrators
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in accordance with school and district guidelines


Qualifications:

Active Sign Language Interpreter credentials as required by state and district regulations
Previous school-based experience preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families
