Job description

Job Purpose:

Navitas Semiconductor (Nasdaq: NVTS) is a next-generation power semiconductor leader driving innovation in gallium nitride (GaN) and high-voltage silicon carbide (SiC) technologies. Our products enable faster, more efficient power delivery across AI data centers, high-performance computing, energy and grid infrastructure, and industrial electrification.

With more than 30 years of combined expertise in wide bandgap technologies, GaNFast™ power ICs integrate GaN power, drive, control, sensing, and protection, delivering faster power delivery, higher system density, and greater efficiency. GeneSiC™ high-voltage SiC devices leverage patented trench-assisted planar technology to provide industry-leading voltage capability, efficiency, and reliability for medium-voltage grid and infrastructure applications.

We are seeking a Sr Procurement Manager to join our fast-growing, collaborative team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, energetic, and able to thrive in a high-growth, innovative environment, contributing directly to technologies that are shaping the future of power electronics.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management

  • Implement sourcing strategy across:
    • OSAT (assembly, test, KGD, reliability)
    • Test services (CP, WLBI, FT)
    • Critical materials & packaging supply chain
  • Drive multi-sourcing strategy, including non-China footprint expansion aligned with customer requirements
  • Establish and manage supplier segmentation (strategic / preferred / transactional)

2. Commercial Negotiation & Cost Management

  • Own commercial negotiations including:
    • Pricing models (turnkey vs consignment)
    • Volume-based cost roadmaps
    • NRE structuring and amortization
  • Deploy should-cost models (assembly, test, module-level, foundry)
  • Lead cost reduction initiatives and prevent unjustified price increases
  • Negotiate and implement:
    • Long-term agreements (MSA)
    • Capacity reservation and pricing frameworks

3. Supply Assurance & Risk Management

  • Work with Supply Chain & Manufacturing to drive end-to-end supply visibility, including:
    • Long-lead material mapping
    • Supplier-owned inventory transparency
    • Pipeline and on-hand coverage tracking
  • Develop risk heatmaps across OSAT, foundry, and materials
  • Establish capacity and allocation strategies for constrained environments

4. Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Partner closely with:
    • Manufacturing & Supply Chain (planning, S&OP alignment)
    • R&D (NPI readiness, process alignment)
    • Test Engineering (test strategy, cost drivers, yield improvement)
  • Ensure procurement is embedded in:
    • Capacity planning
    • Material risk escalation
    • Supplier scorecard
    • Supplier performance reviews (QBRs)

5. Data & Governance

  • Drive supplier data integration including:
    • Price booklet update
    • Yield, test, and quality data flows
    • Supplier reporting (FTP/database integration)
  • Establish governance frameworks for:
    • Supplier quality agreements
    • Change management (PCN, ECN)
    • Performance tracking (KPIs, DPPM, yield)

6. Supplier Relationship & Executive Engagement

  • Build strategic partnerships with key suppliers
  • Lead engagements and business reviews
  • Align suppliers with Navitas’ long-term growth roadmap (AI, data center, grid applications)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics (KSAO’s)

Experience

  • 8–12+ years in sourcing/procurement within semiconductor or electronics industry
  • Strong experience with:
    • OSAT and/or foundry ecosystems
