Become a Key Player as a Data Product Manager

You will own the vision and roadmap for analytics datasets, governed metrics, and dashboards to enable reliable insights for business stakeholders. You will work cross-functionally with data engineering, data science, and analytics teams to deliver reusable, analysis-ready data products in a Hybrid (3 days onsite) model. Your work will reduce metric disputes, increase self-serve analytics, and improve decision-making across the organization.

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
  • Define and own long-term vision and roadmap for analytics datasets, semantic/metric layers, and dashboards
  • Translate business questions into durable data products (canonical datasets, semantic layers, standardized dashboards)
  • Establish and manage a prioritized intake process for analytics requests, balancing quick wins with foundational investments
  • Create and maintain KPI frameworks and single-source-of-truth metric definitions
  • Own dashboard strategy: what to build, retire, and how to improve usability and adoption
  • Partner with Data Engineering to shape data models, pipelines, and data contracts
  • Partner with Data Science and Analytics to ensure datasets are analysis-ready and reusable
  • Act as the primary cross-functional point of accountability from concept through launch and iteration
  • Write clear requirements for datasets and dashboards (metric definitions, grain, dimensions, filters, refresh expectations)
  • Maintain documentation and usage guidelines in a team wiki
  • Implement and run operating cadence: Jira epics/stories, sprint planning, prioritization, and release communication
  • Drive quarterly planning, resourcing conversations, milestone tracking, and stakeholder reviews
  • Define and track success metrics for data products (adoption, data quality, freshness, reliability, stakeholder satisfaction)
  • Establish monitoring and incident triage processes and enable self-serve analytics through discoverability, documentation, and training
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Working proficiency in SQL and strong fluency in data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and event-based data
  • Experience with BI/dashboarding ecosystems (Looker, Tableau, Power BI or similar)
  • Familiarity with semantic/metric layers and governed, reusable metric definitions
  • Strong product management skills applied to data and analytics products (roadmap ownership, prioritization)
  • Proven ability to translate ambiguous business needs into clear dataset and dashboard requirements
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Hands-on experience running Jira workflows and building intake/planning/release operating mechanisms
  • Ability to create clear documentation and manage knowledge in a wiki environment
Here's What Else Might Help You Out
  • Master's degree in analytics, data science, MBA, or similar
Pay Range

$54.65 - $68.31/hour
