PLUMBING MANAGER SAMSUNG SEMICONDUCTOR CAMPUS
Location: Taylor, TX
Employment: Full-Time Salaried On-Site
Compensation: Competitive Salary Relocation Assistance available, if needed
ONE CAMPUS. NO SERVICE ROUTE. BUILD THE PLUMBING OPERATION.
Ready to move beyond traditional service management and step into a leadership role where you can actually build something?
Vanguard Resources, Inc. (VRI) is hiring an experienced Plumbing Manager to lead and grow plumbing operations at the Samsung Semiconductor Campus in Taylor, Texas. This is not a traditional plumbing service role spent traveling from customer to customer or jobsite to jobsite. You'll work at one dedicated, rapidly expanding campus, leading plumbing operations within a brand-new, state-of-the-art semiconductor facility. We're looking for a licensed Journeyman Plumber who has progressed into leadership but still understands the work from the field up. You'll lead employees, oversee subcontractors and projects, partner with Samsung and Vanguard leadership, troubleshoot complex issues and help shape the plumbing operation as the campus continues to grow.
WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY STANDS OUT
  • One dedicated campus - no daily service route
  • Lead plumbing operations supporting the Samsung Semiconductor Campus
  • Help build, develop and grow your plumbing team
  • Work in a brand-new, high-tech facility
  • Join a campus experiencing significant growth, expansion and construction
  • Competitive salaried compensation
  • Relocation assistance available, if needed
  • Long-term opportunity with leadership visibility and room for growth
  • Strong focus on safety, quality, preventive maintenance and system reliability

WHAT YOU'LL DO
As Plumbing Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day plumbing operation and help develop the people, processes and standards needed to support a large, complex facility.
Responsibilities include:
  • Lead with Safety as Priority One and reinforce safe work practices across the plumbing operation
  • Oversee plumbing maintenance, repairs, installations and project work throughout the campus
  • Supervise, coach and develop plumbers while establishing clear expectations for performance and quality
  • Help recruit and build the plumbing team as campus needs continue to expand
  • Schedule and prioritize work while ensuring preventive maintenance is completed accurately and on time
  • Troubleshoot complex plumbing issues and provide technical guidance to the team
  • Ensure work meets applicable plumbing codes, regulations and quality standards
  • Coordinate with facilities, engineering, construction and other site teams
  • Manage subcontractors and plumbing projects from new construction through final punch-list completion
  • Monitor schedules, budgets, documentation, permits and project deliverables
  • Build strong relationships with Samsung leadership and partner with Vanguard's on-site and corporate support teams

BENEFITS INCLUDE
  • Paid Time Off
  • 401(k) with Employer Matching
  • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance
  • Company-paid Basic Life Insurance with additional coverage options
  • Supplemental and Disability Insurance Options
  • Education/Tuition Reimbursement
  • Employee Referral Bonuses
  • Leadership Development Programs
  • Employee Assistance Program

GROW WITH US
This is more than another plumbing management job. You'll have the opportunity to lead at one rapidly expanding campus, build your team and help shape an operation designed for long-term success.
As the Taylor campus grows, the plumbing operation will grow with it - creating an opportunity for a leader who wants stability, ownership, challenge and the ability to make a visible impact.
