Job description

Job Title: SecuritySupervisor

Salary: $22.75per hour

Job Type: Full-Time

About us: AtElbow River Casino, we pride ourselves on providing an exceptional gamingexperience, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for our guests and staff.We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to join our teamand oversee the security operations of our Casino. 

Responsibilities: 

  •  Supervise and coordinate the activities of the security team to ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, and property.
  •  Conduct regular inspections of security systems, equipment, and procedures.
  •  Respond and manage emergency situations, including incidents involving guests and employees.
  •  Prepare and maintain detailed incident reports and documentation.
  •  Collaborate with Calgary Police and other emergency services as necessary. 
  •  Train and mentor Security staff, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and AGLC legislation.
  •  Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or issues raised by guests

Qualifications:

  •  Previous experience in security supervision or a similar role, preferably in a casino or high-traffic environment.
  •  Strong leadership and team management skills.
  •  Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  •  Ability to remain calm and make decisions in high-pressure situations.
  •  Proficient in the use of security systems and technologies.
  •  Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
